New Zealand Clean Up Week 2025 – Join the Movement!

New Zealand Clean Up Week 2025 runs from 19–25 September, and it’s a chance for everyone - individuals, families, schools, businesses, community groups, and councils to make a tangible difference in keeping Aotearoa clean. Established in 1967 by the Government, Clean Up Week began as a national initiative to tackle litter. Over the past five decades, the challenges around waste have grown. Today, climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution are the three biggest impacts of waste, making community action more important than ever.

Enviro NZ is proud to partner in Clean Up Week by providing a network of transfer stations across New Zealand where litter is collected during the week, and up until 15 October 2025, can be dropped off free of charge. Simply present your digital token (which you receive when you register with Keep New Zealand Beautiful) at any of the following sites:

Auckland:

• Mairangi Bay – Constellation Drive, Rosedale, 4 Home Place
• Avondale – Patiki Road Resource Recovery Centre, 114 Patiki Road
• Onehunga – Pikes Point Transfer Station, 81 Captain Springs Road
• Wiri – Resource Recovery Centre, Cnr Wiri Station Road & Langley Road
• Pukekohe – Resource Recovery Centre, 10 Austen Place, Pukekohe

Waikato:
