Halloween is upon us and it's a spooktacular time to create a sustainable costume.

And if you are a gaming, collectible or super hero fan, you know Armeggedon and the Retro Event NZ just took place right after Recycling Week AND right in time for Halloween.

Our resident retro and green queen, Kristin, enjoyed searching for DIY & sustainable inspiration and found it in spades!

Enter Rochelle, a university student with a keen interest in e-waste and repair workshops, who fashioned some stellar electronic accessories from removed damaged parts from e-scooters.

Rochelle created 2 headsets, belt accessories, and bracelets from circuit boards in particular.
